Title: Wing mirror in reverse not working

My drivers side wing mirror no longer moves when I engage reverse gear. The passenger side works perfectly. I have checked that the knob is on "R" when doing so but still nothing. Any ideas?

I thought only the passenger one dipped? (when its set to L)

As above, only the near side mirror dips.

I could have sworn the driver side mirror dipped too. Not sure why I thought that.

Needs to be on L on mirror switch off LH mirror to dip on reverse.
