i recently spilled perfume over the ashtrey lid and left it overnight by mistake :cry: now the material for the ashtrey lid is ripped, i know i can replace the lid with an aluminium lid, but what about the plastic part that surrounds the lid? the material is a little ripped from the perfume and i need to know if its replacable or not :undecided: pls help

it's part of the centre console, so you need to replace the whole lot.. it isnt too bad though. I replaced mine because it had cracked around the ash tray, costs about £35 i think.. isnt even difficult to swap. From memory just unclip the gearstick gaitor, then there's about 4 screws.. just dont lose the retaining clips that the screws go in to. The hardest part is lining all the clips back up before screwing it back together.
