Title: New GTD owner
Post by: Borvad on 15 March 2023, 22:42
After a few weeks of negotiations picked this up today from GTi World in Edinburgh.

2017 with 55k on the clock, I'm usually paranoid about mileage for some reason but got a 2yr warranty thrown in as well, along with 4 new Falken tyres.

Have had a few BMW Minis, and Audi TTs in the past, but being 6'7" felt I needed a bit more room.

Agreed. If I had to choose just one colour for every car I ever buy in future, I'd tick 'White Silver' box.  Looks lovely.

That looks really good, as above excellent colour.

It also looks to be a rare car with air ducts instead of front fog lights? Makes the car look more aggressive.

Nope, not really. It was used very heavily for about a year, then c. 5-6k pa after that. Fantastic car and will prob be with me until I can no longer drive.
With regular maintenance should be good for a couple of 100k, so should have a few years to spare
Recently taken out the All - in package which might well be the last one.
