Title: 7.5 PP Cobra cat back system

Anyone any experience of running and fitting this system without access to a lift? Interested to hear peoples experience of DIYing this and also running a resonated or non-resonated set-up. Looking for the holy grail of a sound and performance upgrade without annoying the neighbours..... too much   :laugh:

Fitted mine (MK7) on wooden ramps I had made at the rear and a trolley jack and axle stand on one side at the front. Easy job except for the rubber hanger they sent was solid not pliable like the VW one.

Went for the non resonated system and there is zero drone and not too loud to be obnoxious but when you hoof it then it gets nice and fruity.

I replaced the res delete with Remus quad exhaust I have had on since I got the Golf in 2014 and this sounds much better, probably as it is 3" as opposed to 2.5"

Before you order make sure you need a cat back or a gpf back exhaust. Having installed my Remus exhaust on a lift, I personally wouldn’t do it on the ground. Is there a rent a car lift option near you?
