Title: Hello! Just joined Mk2 Gti owner

Hi everyone, just joined today. I have a Mk2 Gti big number on a H reg, I’ve owned it for a number of years but has sat for about 5 years now 😞 but getting into a position to get it on the road again. I’m not not mechanic so looking to see if I can get some suggestions of contacts etc in the north east.
Also happy for advice on tips to strip the interior down myself to try and save labour etc.

Depends were you are in the North East.
