Title: Headlight replacement for Edition 40 GTI

Hi all, anyone got some links or recommendations for good quality Xenon headlight replacements ? It’s for a Mk7 GTI Clubsport, just been quoted £253 for a single one by VW, another £271 to fit it, that’s a crazy £524 to replace a single light ! There has to be better options out there, any help appreciated.

Fit it yourself, not difficult if a bit of a pain. You need to loosen off the bumper, plenty of videos online.

A quick scan on Ebay shows, used, intact headlights aviailabe for £80 - £120.

Whether you need a near or offside, you can be sure that one will be £120 and not £80, or is that just how it works for me? :)

As Watts says, it's not as daunting to fit as you might expect?
