Title: rad fans

Just a question I'm having trouble finding the answer even on google. Should the radiator fans run when the engine is shut down, I know it doe's on some VW models but my mk6 GTI it never has, even if it's really hot, I'm not concerned but if it should be working and it isn't I'd have to fix it, I get a little anal about things that should work but don't. many thanks.

I don't know. I know there's an auxiliary waterpump that keeps running to cool it if it's hot.
