I had my car in for (some issues) a new one was that my new iPhone 14 would only charge intermittently. The wonderful service person said it’s a known issue with 13/14 models. He said it’s an Apple issue and not a VW one. Anyone else had this issue with their iPhone 13/14s?
I smell BS from VW.

The wireless charger is crap but it’s not a problem unique to VW. Generally they aren’t great, slow (trickle) charge and the phone tends to get very hot.
That said, I have a 14 pro and it seems to work fine in the wireless charger the few times I’ve tried it. I was surprised it works with the 14Pro tbh as the camera lenses add a lot of bulk so the phone cannot sit flat.

I thought it might be the camara…I have a cover on my lense. And both my iPhones do get v hot.
