Any tried and tested seat covers anyone can recommend?
Got a week away planned and have to take 2 kids and the dog.
Normally it's one kid and the dog and the dog gets crated in the boot and child shares the rear seat with a couple of bags.
I've been informed that we need boot space so it's the dog inside...
Thanks
2019 Golf GTi 5 door if it makes a difference.

Can't recommend the Pet Rebellion ones high enough. Had them about a year now, super heavy duty and really easy to fit, with a nice rubberised back to them to stop any moisture getting to the seats. Our 2 cockers use them all the time.

If you are interested I have an unused, still in the pack custom for a 7.5, high quality rear seat cover. It’s from Rhino, is black polyester (waterproof) and has three head rest covers. Bought last year. I have now changed to a Mk8. If you’re interested. PM me and I’ll send you a picture. I’ll not be hard to pay.

Thanks CeeFeesh, Originally I would have gone for them but having seen the pet rebellion ones above I think they maybe better as the will fit my car and the wifes (and whatever she gets next!)
Anything to avoid driving the Toyota Auris for 400+ miles! It's a great car but its old and doesn't have much in the way of toys and, well its just not a GTI
Going to go with Sootchucker's idea I think! Shame the 10% discount doesn't apply to the sets :-(
Thanks all
JB

No problem, it’ll stay in my garage. The pet rebellion covers look good too.

I’ve got the best dog protection solution possible.
Use the wife’s car.

Has the one kid been especially bad that they've not been allowed on previous trips?
I can recommend 'Over The Top' and they'll do exactly what you want. Here's an example showing options, material and fit (https://www.overthetop.co.uk/custom-back-seat-cover/). The material is tough, hydrophobic and has an inert rubber base layer underneath which stops it slipping and abrading, particularly if you have leather. It vacuums and cleans up well. I was really impressed with the accuracy of the cutting pattern and fit. Normally, you're sold on a product picture and the reality never matches expectations. Not so with this in my experience.
If you do have a dog in the car, don't forget a dog harness if you don't have one already. I've got one from Ezy Dog (https://www.mountaindog.uk/products/ezydog-drive-safety-harness?variant=39412206239857&utm_source=google&utm_medium=surfaces&utm_campaign=shopping%20feed&utm_content=free%20google%20shopping%20clicks&gclid=Cj0KCQjw166aBhDEARIsAMEyZh4n51Z7yOUiI5hkl8IHgBE3-akxjcEnXePsQ8it-v8ksRb798Zy7_4aAteWEALw_wcB) which has been great. Expensive but it's well thought out. Had a cheap one from Pets at Home first and the dog required a mid motorway rescue as he tried to get comfortable on the seat and it got horribly twisted.

Ha ha! No the joys of one of them being a step-teenager, last time we did this trip with the dog she was at her dad's!

Back from our holiday and the rear seats survived under the pet rebellion covers.
Biggest issue was some stray hair getting in the gaps where the individual covers meet.
I went for the full set so had the backs of the front seats covered too
There was a bit of hoovering needed on the floor mats but not too much.
The covers themselves clean really easily.
