Title: Golf tsi - Japanese import - Japanese only language?
Post by: weewards on 28 September 2022, 08:10
Hi does anyone know if my.golf station wagon tsi can be Configured for English.

I have tried converting the menus but cannot see an option for english.

It’s a 2010 model bought in New Zealand.

There is no sd card in the slot but there is a credit card type card in a slot which I could take out & look at if necessary?

Would an OBD2 port cider such as Carista or Carly work?

I’ve got Carista and there is an option to change languages, but as I’m in the UK I don’t know if it’ll differ for you.

The credit card slot is for a Japanese toll road pass... unique to Japanese market I believe.

Have you had the clocks changed to UK spec clocks? As the Japanese clocks might not have English as an option.

Also would be worth changing the head unit to a UK spec one too.
