Hi there,
I'm new here and have just recently purchased a VW Golf GTI mk6 2009 plate (1984cc). I have had the following message appear on my dashboard:
Oil Pressure Engine Speed max. 4000rpm (see attached photo).
When I put in a diagnostic kit reader, the following fault appeared:
P0171 Fault - Fuel Trim (FT) system too lean, bank 1.
Not sure if the two are related. The car has been serviced, oil changed, new oil filter and fuel filter. Spark plugs and ignition coils replaced.
Has anyone come across these two faults? If so, where would be the best place to look initially?
The car is running fine, no performance issues to date.
I live in the South Birmingham region, so if anyone knows of somewhere reputable to go to, I'd greatly appreciate this. I've been quoted £70 for a diagnostic check from: Autotechnik Ltd - VW, Audi, Seat & Skoda Specialists, which seems a bit steep considering I know what the problem is already.
