im a new one to this but ive just had fk coilovers put on my gti still keeping the original wheels on what is the best ride height to have??
-
drop it til it scrapes then lift her up a bit...thats what i done
-
around 90mm... 70 if you live near speed bumps
-
fair play! how much is yours down?
im thinking 60 mm but they can go down to 75mm
-
thanks ppl will let you know how i get on with it
-
I've got mine down 70mm on springs and shocks... drives fun with both standard 14" wheels and 7.5x16's... want to go a bit lower really but would be too impractical. Not scraping at the moment but not far off!

ive got fk coilovers 70mm lowered looks great, the black gti is my dads and the purple one is my car (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y177/carljames/PICT0053.jpg)(http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y177/carljames/PICT0284.jpg)

if your running standard wheels get some spacers on them it will make it look loads better when lowered!
