Hi son and I have just bought a 90 GTI to enjoy and restore.
Hoping to get tips and avoid pitfalls,

Thanks guys,
Engine bay tidy up and corner tidy up going well.
Just fitting Bilstein shocks and spring to replace the 32 year old originals!

Need to find a period head unit for the dash!

I may have the original Panasonic head unit out of my Mk2 GTI which i removed in about 1995, I'll have a look on Monday.

Edit - found it, been in the box for about 20 years!!
