Has anyone found a good quality, well fitting drivers seat cover for their GTI/R/R-line (seats with the integrated head rest)?

I think the problem with sports seats that have fairly prominent side bolsters is that any universal / generic seat cover is unlikely to be a good fit - it’ll probably be quite baggy / saggy and will look a bit like someone’s but a bin liner over the seat - like this (and that would really play havoc with my car OCD :grin:);

If you want good fitting seat cover, then you may need to consider getting one custom made, which I dare say won’t be cheap and there’s a chance it’ll still not be a ‘perfect’ fit. Also, it’s important to ensure any seat cover is airbag friendly, so that if you are unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident, the seat airbag isn’t prevented from deploying correctly and potentially causing the seat occupant an injury because of the seat cover.

Nothing as far as I know
I’ve tried various seat covers for the MK8 and all have been useless tbh
It needs a proper tailored seat cover using quality materials and as far as I’m aware Capital seating are the only ones who can provide this service but need a car to take the template from
If I was in England I’d have already been to them unfortunately I’m not

Agree, bearing in mind ‘well fitting’ was one of @Tallpaul’s criteria for the seat cover.
I’d be contacting Capital Seating as recommended by you :smiley:.

You would be as well buying one of Amazon for £10
Will be the same poor fit and quality
But yes it’s better than a beach towel !
