I’ve had my mk6 GTI for a few weeks now and figured it was about time I say hello.
This is the first time I’ve owned a VW, and so far I’m really enjoying it.
Anyway, here she is…

Welcome JSYGTI
I’d imagine the GTI is good fun on the Jersey roads and makes a change from Rolls Royces and Ferraris!
The mk7 R wheels suit it well too

To be honest, it's far too crowded to really enjoy the car as it was intended, but then the 40mph speed limit doesn't help
I like the wheels too, they were on it when I got it, makes a nice change from the standard ones I've seen.

You’ll just have to get up very early to drive when it’s quieter!
40 mph still an issue though…

Fortunately we’re only an hour boat trip away from France, that opens up a whole new world

Good point! Better and quieter roads than here in over-crowded, potholed Southern England

Our roads are awful too, my last car was lowered, I'll certainly not be lowing the GTI!
