Title: Swap modified parts for standard items? mk7 GTI

Hey all,

New(ish) GTI owner here and first post on the forum.

I purchased a mk7 several months ago that has a modified back box and has been lowered on race line springs.

I thought I’d be able to cope with it, having modded most of previous cars with such mods in my youth, but it turns out my tolerance for a stiff ride and low burble exhaust note has wained as I’ve got older.

The car looks perfect on the springs, and the exhaust note you get when on full chat is absolutely brilliant, but as I say, I’m more looking for a softer ride and normal exhaust sound at the stage of life that I’m at now.

Plus, ‘she’ keeps moaning it as well…

So, is there anybody here willing to do a straight swap?

Pictures of the springs and back box attached. I’m based in Surrey.

Let me know if anybody is up for it?

I genuinely thought somebody would have jumped at the chance to mod their vehicle almost “free of charge” ??

Both springs and exhaust still up for swaps.

I see you're base in Surrey, I'm in East Sussex, north part so nearer yourself. I've got a stock backbox/muffler sitting around after I put the clubsport s muffler on my mk7 if that's of any interest to you.
