Has anyone managed to get this working I downloaded it and when you click through to get the code I just get a spinning circle beneath “enter this code”

Yes it works...sometimes. You need either a paid for VW dataplan or your phone setup as a wifi hotspot though.
One of its biggest problems is that while it saves your login information, when you first launch it it logs in.... the login doesn't work if the vehicle is moving (safety obviously, but you aren't typing anything after the first time)... which means you need to be stopped for about a minute.
Stupid thing!
Often it simply doesn't work.

Thanks Fred, I wondered about the hotspot and tried that too still didn't work!!! I'll perhaps not bother and carry on with Car play
