Hi folks,
While I still waiting for my Golf 8 GTI, (more about that:https://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=288555.0) I check the VW configurator and discovered that GTI 8 got a few updates on the interior.
The first I discovered was GTI emblem on seats, which wasn't the case in orders before July 2022.
The second was dash trim got silver, not black.
Wondering if my GTI will come with these updates.
If anyone notices this or something new they updates please write me :)
Best regards,

My GTI CS is a MY23 so will have that silver dash. Looks cheap compared to the black. Hopefully it can be swapped out easily enough.

Saw you can specify lime yellow as a new colour option too. There's a pic on here: https://gearjunkie.com/motors/2022-vw-gti-golf-r-review

The yellow colour pictured has been available from launch on the GTI in the US hasn’t it? I though it was known as pomelo yellow?

The names of some colours can vary depending on market - e.g. Isaac Blue (full name Isaac Blue Steel) was available on the mk7.5 GTI, GTD and GTE models in the UK. The same colour was known as Dark Iron Blue in the US.
It’s good to see that VW have moved away from their usual drab colour palate for the GTI. However, IMHO Lime Yellow is a bit of a Marmite colour so may not be overly popular. VW offered a similarly Marmite colour on the mk7.5 Golf - Turmeric Yellow - and from memory that colour had a fairly short lifespan.
