Title: Worth selling a 2004 Mk V GTi privately or just take the PX

Hi everyone, I'm planning to buy a Mk 7 Golf R and I'm just thinking about what to do with my beloved Mk V GTi.

Appreciate it's not worth much with 105k miles on the clock, so I just wondered - am I better off pressing the 'easy button' and taking a minimal PX from a dealer when I buy the R?

Or actually is there an enthusiast's market who might give her a good home?

Let me know if anyone wants some pictures (fingers crossed!).

Put up some pictures, location, history, price and go from there?

Of course taking the px (or webuy etc) is the easy option but you need to put in a bit more effort to try and tempt a private buyer :)

Factory open fog light grills too, a rare option! Also possibly power folding mirrors? Great spec anyway you'd get asking price within a week, there's always demand for a mk5!
