Title: Infotaninment "swipe" gesture.

Good morning all.

I have the above on my 7.5 GTI.

Its a bit of a pain, as I for example, take my hand off the steering wheel, and it goes anywhere near the screen! The song that is playing etc.will just get rewound to previous track!

Is there a way to either turn of the "swipe" gesture or to lower/lessen it please?

Yes you can disable it in the settings. I had it on my 7.5R and didn't like it for the reasons you mention and I got rid of it.

I'm sorry I can't be of more help but it should be simple to find in the settings if you have a look, but rest assured you can definitely disable it.

I "think" I had a quick look in settings before, but will have a proper look later!

Gesture control I think it’s called, turned it off after the first time driving the car

Yes it was a pain in the bum on my Mk7.5.

Took me a few days to work out why my music kept skipping.... it was me changing gear!

Switched it off.
