Title: Made it to the GTI Club - Clubsport Edition 40
Post by: Scott-CS40 on 14 March 2022, 10:12
Hi All,

After many years of wanting a Golf GTI, life has now meant that I’m the very proud owner of a Golf GTI Clubsport Edition 40.
I knew what I wanted and it took some finding but I collected her on Friday. To say I’m a very happy boy is an understatement 😁
Hoping to learn and share with you all and hoping to get and about, so may see some of you at shows etc.
I’ve started an instagram account for the car to capture key moments and share: gti_clubsport40

It’s very subjective but I think the manual box just fits the car better 😀
I test drove a GTI Performance MK7.5 DSG to see what I would be missing out and prefer the manual.

I personally think a manual suits a CS better too, although theres alot to be said for DSG, especially if your daily drive involves alot of traffic.

I got myself one back in September, absolutely love it. Put a stage 1 Revo map on, it’s great fun to drive as my daily despite the fuel costs atm.

They really are fantastic cars. Good normal driver if the wife takes little’un to nursery and great for a bit of fun and everything in between.
Best car I’ve owned…….keeper for me!
