Hi Guys,
Just got this 65 plate  red GTI PP , good spec, Manual , leather, pan roof , MIB 2 ,Dynaudio , Rev camera
Had a  14 plate R dsg  for 7 years , sold it last year when price were high, jumped into a 5 GTI manual and loved it so now i've bought this privately.  Got a few plans for it but not going crazy!

I use the free version of Post Image,a little fiddly but works for me. I am sure there are alternatives.

Thanks, think i've sussed it now!!
First job was to get the Austins refurbed and sealed with gyeon rim with some PS4 Michelin rubber

As you can see, i like wheels!!They change how a car looks so much, i found these Revo 018 wheels up for sale on Ebay and couldn't pass them up as they no longer make them and they were perfect condition and colour  for what i wanted .

Had Some GTI puddle lights installed, found these on ETSY and got my local garage to fit them ,
 also had the headlight bulbs changed to
Osram cool blue intense H7
and the sidelights changed to
Osram cool blue intense D3S

Found a good deal on Ebay for Pikey airbox mod also

Nice subtle mods, I really like the GTI puddle lights. My last GTI was tornado red, I think it really suits the GTI, its a classic colour. What other plans do you have for it?

Nappa steering wheel by Royal
USA rear headrests
SRS-Tec rear spoiler
Do love Belverdere alloys but sourcing them is an issue, missed out on some last month but do like  the REVO alloys
Think that'll be about it (slippery slope this modding i know!)

The rear headrests are looking really good i cant wait to see your other planned mods.
I need to start thinking about some things to do to mine, i have the Crome footrest in my garage but i have not fitted it yet. My warranty is up in 6 months then i think I will start to seriously think about remapping it etc

I had a blue one in my R but that only works in the raised floor position, wanted a red one anyway TBH, they are very good i agree  :smiley:

Thanks, it's less slippy than the standard one and a tad thicker.

Fairly sure I had your wheel trimmed how I had ordered it!  Took two weeks to sort. Did you like my DSG wheel?   Well travelled wheels. I felt yours enjoyed its time in Northern Ireland. :grin:

PS Great minds  think alike. I have similar sill protectors and a black Hatchbag- great quality. Or alternatively, 'fools seldom differ'. Take your choice.  :wink:

Yes, it's better travelled in MI than i am lol, hope yours enjoyed the sunny south coast in Sussex !

Was really lucky to find this 20 miles away, could have bought a R for the money this would have cost i expect, wanted a manual this time after a couple of DSG s, they are great but Manual is a bit more involving.
