Title: Mileometer reading
Post by: 8vgti on 28 October 2003, 15:36
My mileometer is playing up as the service intervals no longer work. I can get it replaced for a nominal fee, and with a proper certificate for the mileage before and after, but just wanted to know peoples opinions on whether it is likely to put people off when i come to sell the car. Alternatively would it be worth getting it done and then getting a mileage correction done to put it back to the original mileage?    ???

It shouldn't put people off as long as you get it done straight away, and get a certificate.
