Title: Frozen door seals!!!
Post by: madstaff on 29 November 2021, 11:37
Its getting to that time of year again, back to de-frosting the car in a morning.

I have treated the rubber seals with Gummi Pfledge but what do people use, if anything, on the felt seal around the top of the door to prevent it freezing??

It doesn't really get cold enough down here for it to be a problem, but you could try a Dry PTFE Lube, helps with squeaks in the summer too.

Sailkote (dry lube) on the felt of the seals. Krytox (wet lube) on the weather seals.
