I now have the weary stop/start system working. However, as soon as the stationary car in front of me moves forward a few feet, the engine starts again. Can you adjust or set it so it remains off when triggered until I release the brake? Seems like it’s tied into the front camera or parking sensors as, soon as the car in front moves a few inches the engine restarts

Got to be related to the front camera as my CS does the same, but a CS isnt fitted with front parking sensors.

It's the radar, shirley

Agree its the ACC radar as I have no camera. My mk7 never did it so assume its a 7.5 "feature". Very annoying when sitting behind people who creep forward at a red light.

The radar thingy in the front lower grill is what i meant.
My CS fires up when the car infront pulls away too.
-
Now second nature for me to turn the horrible thing off as soon as I start the engine.
