Title: Autohold not releasing
Post by: Rab_m_2 on 02 November 2021, 18:12
I've had a search but I can't see anything specific to my issue.

When I stop at lights etc and the auto hold activates, I've had to recently give it alot more revs to make it release and it does so with a sudden lunge forward due to the high revs.

I tried it with just the clutch and no accelerator, which used to work, but the car was nearly stalling before it finally lunged forward.

Has anyone got any ideas?

I think there is a sensor that causes this? Clutch position?

My manual mk7 never released on clutch only.
Always needed a dab on the throttle while getting the clutch up.

As for the 2 DSGs (ok one is a Leon) a dab on the throttle with the engine running and it would gently set off.
