Title: Gt pp 2019. Main beam light assist. Do I have this

Hi.  Will my my 7.5 pp. 2019. Have light assist/dynamic light function for main beam.

You would be better posting this in the MK7 section.

I have a 2019 model and I don't know! They light up and I can see where I'm going, not really given it much thought :laugh:

Mine is a 19 plate PP, UK spec and it has it.
The headlight switch has to be in the auto position for it to work, and you have to be going faster than roughly 40mph I think.
Its pure witchcraft the first time you use it!

Hi, do you leave stalk in full beam position all the time , and do you have to activate it in settings

Still no luck . Perhaps I physically don’t have it on car. , can’t see it on settings menu .. only automatically cornering lights

I seem to remember by 2019 they had deleted the old fashioned Mk7 "high beam assist" from the options list and only the full dynamic light system was available (and expensive!)

Yes, sorry its Dynamic Light assist on the 2019 PP GTI's
This February 2019 UK brochure shows its standard equipment on the GTI PP. High beam assist was still an option on other models though. Its on page 40.
