Swinging the car around in a car park noticed a noise which suspiciously sounds like a wheel bearing.
Car's a 2017 with 20k miles.
Anyone else experienced this and what's the chances of getting it done under extended warranty
-
Jack it up and spin the wheels see if you can work out which one it is.
Should be fairly easily done under warranty, not really a thing that could be argued.
-
I had one replaced on my last GTI at around 10k miles, very likely pothole damage.
-
Check the tyre to make sure you don't have something stuck in it.
-
Worn rear tyres are very noisy on the MK7 and sound like wheel bearings are on the way out.
-
New rear discs n pads on the way so will look into when changing them.
Tyres are virtually brand new.

Update:
Replaced rear discs & pads and now all seems good.
Discs weren't as bad as I thought just worn unevenly pads had 50% left.
So fingers crossed it was maybe just that
