Does anyone know of any fixes for creaking door card trims? (See Below image) It's always creaking when I have my arm rested on it while drive and it's quite annoying, never had this on my 5 door.

Sounds similar to an issue I have with my car but I think my creaks are coming from around the AID binnacle and the headlight control, very annoying especially when I drove my wife's 10 year old Polo and it was completely rattle/creak free!
I'm very cautious about spraying anything around trim with all of the possible electrical connections.

Yes it's funny how cars with less 'toys' never rattled.
My passenger door card is rattling off the paint at the bottom so I'll mention to them next oil change, was just hoping there was a quick solution.

My Clubsport does exactly the same when you rest your arm on the door card, right about where theres a white mark on your trim in your picture.

My MK7 was the same and to some extent my 7.5. I think it has to do with the way the trim panel is fixed to the door card.
This is for the rear but you'll see what I mean: http://www.vwgolf.org/removing_and_installing_trim_panel-890.html

Mine does the same, particularly the passenger door. Main rattle for me - in fact I'm not sure I can hear any others. I'm regularly leaning across to press on it

My MK7 had a rattle too which the dealer sorted with some tape on the bar that links the door lever with the lock.
