Has anyone put oil additive in when doing oil change I use it in my older car years ago not planing to use it I was just wondering ( well unless it good for it and will not do any harm )

Personally I just use high quality oil of the right type, at the right time. If you're unusually hard on your oil, I think there could be some benefit to changing it more frequently.

As backa says use good quality oil that meets vw spec and quality filter. I change oil and filter every 6 months - my preference - but seems to keep the engine trouble free.

As above - regular changes better than any snake oil additive

I've been using NeoProtec GT

Regular oil changes for me 👍
