Hi guys, whilst cleaning my car the other day I noticed the rim of my front right brake rotor appears to be broken. Does anyone have this issue or know what might have caused it as my car has only done 3000 miles. Any advice is welcome!

Funnily enough, I noticed this on mine yesterday too. They seem to have a flat spot. Guessing it’s intentional

Or a casting issue during the manufacturing process.

Just checked the other disc and there’s a similar mark so I guess it is a flat spot

Maybe part of the manufacturing process for balancing the discs ?
