Well todays the day!!!!
Have only slept about 4 hours as so exited. Pick up is 10am so will post some pictures later.
Worked it out this is my 14th Golf :whistle: will put the list up another day :smiley:

Not long to wait - you should’ve taken delivery by the time you read this :smiley: - hope it goes well.
When I bought my car last year, I told the dealer I specifically didn’t want it covered up for the ‘big reveal’ - I needn’t have worried as Covid intervened, so handover was very low key, which is the way I like it.
The salesman I was dealing with told me they’d stopped doing the ‘big reveal’ - some owners had complained about marks on the paintwork of their new pride and joy - caused when the cover was removed during the reveal. This is precisely why I prefer low key. Might be worth checking your paintwork carefully if you’ve not already done so - hopefully the paintwork’s in pristine condition.

As I understand it. 3D/4D plates will still be legal, but only the single colour black. No colours beneath, no crystal and no carbon letters

Haven’t bothered as most wheel thief’s won’t have the spline of the bolts

When I’ve notified my insurer I’ve changed my wheels in the past, I had to confirm that I had locking wheel bolts fitted. Assume that if your insurer was concerned about your new wheels being stolen, they’d have also asked this.
