As per title :grin: I have 19s at the moment but was looking to replace with 18s (usually found on Polo GTI I think?) for ride quality. Wasn’t sure how these would look though - so was wondering if there was anyone running them who can send pics?
Thanks!!

Polo wheels won’t fit.

Wrong bolt pattern.
You need 5 x 112 for the Golf. Polo wheels are 5 x 100.

Perhaps a change of tyre instead. If you are still on P-Zeros, I find them a bit hard, Michelins were better. Also worth checking tyre pressures aren't too high. Otherwise, if you really want to go down the new wheels route, a set of oem 18" Pretorias might be worth a look.

You can get aftermarket 18” Brescia’s from here with the correct PCD for a golf.

I found the P-Zero's more comfortable than my Michelins, not much in it really though.
If you're wanting to go down to 18's I'd personally go for the painted Sevilla alloys imo they're the nicest 18in alloy for the golf (I'm also currently looking for a set if anyone knows of any), alternatively there's the 18in pretoria nice, plain and easy cleaned!

With respect Sir, I disagree... :cool:

They'd be my first choice if they weren't diamond cut! :wink: But the OZ Veloce GT

They look good but also look diamond cut on the outer edge to me?

Not too sure to be honest, I thought it was a rim protector like the BBS alloys have now.
Side note my friend that bought my old BBS grazed them and said "Those rim protectors are the best thing invented, I'm surprised manufacturers aren't pursuing this idea and flogging them every service.

Felgenoutlet.com website describes them as being ‘Gloss black diamond cut’ - link below;
https://www.felgenoutlet.com/en/alloy-wheels-tyres-packages/oz-veloce-gt-gloss-black-diamond-cut?possible_rim_id=10995&preselect_inch=17
Rimstyle.com website also describes then as ‘Gloss Balck with Polished Rim’ (aka diamond cut);

Just checked out the Oz Racing website - Oz Veloce GT don’t seem to be available in any other colour / finish, so sadly, it looks as if they all have a diamond cut rim.

Shame, that being said my local Alloy Refurbishers are happy to do blow in repairs so I'd imagine it wouldn't cost too much to get it redone in gloss black.

They don't do different colours in the Veloce GT but they do in the Omnia which is very slightly different but it is also a lightweight alloy at 8.9kg
