Title: How to put the map on the instrument display???

Tried most things and it just isn't happening.....can it be done? or is it reserved for discover-pro setups?? 

cheers folks

also...how easy is it to change the primary user, both ours are set for me and my mrs clearly wants hers set to her!

Depends what head unit display you have got and software version you are on, it's only on the newer builds I'm aware running.

Have a look at your infotainment software version to see if its possible first:

Go to: Settings -> System Information (down the bottom)

You'll see something like this:

System information

Hardware: H56
Software: 1664
Display unit/control panel hardware: H40
Display unit/control panel software: 3074
Navigation database: 20.7
Media codec: 3.1.4
Radio database: 1.30.12

Then once you have the number highlighted in bold above, consult the fourth column of this table:

If your result says you can't do it, you can't do it and it seems unlikely it will change ever.  :cry:

If it says you can, then you just need to press a button in the menus  :cool:

I'll talk about becoming primary user later....

I have an 816C unit so no dice!..........just as well I've got hud then.......  :-(
