Title: front wiper motor replacement

hi all, can anyone tell me if i replace my front wiper motor weather it has to be coded into the car system or will it just work normally
 thank you in advance. my car is a golf gti 2019

2019.. surely it's still under warrantee?

What problem did you have with the motor?

the reason I asked the question is I removed the motor assy when I was cleaning that area and the motor got damaged. I have found the motor and wiper mechanism for sale on ebay for £45 and was hoping its a straight swap.
