Hello from East Sussex ,

I am a new member and appreciate the model I have recently purchased is not a gti but a v5 170,

But I am only on here to see if anyone can help as I have had no luck on other forums or websites.

I have a completely stock 2002 2.3 v5 with 74000 miles , it is a fantastic car and in an excellent condition.

The only thing I would like to do is put a performance back box on her to give a little more sound.

I have contacted Milltek and scorpion as I have heard they were good but both companies told me they have nothing suitable for this model .

I have also read about sportex but with very mixed reviews.

So I would just like to ask if anyone could offer me any advise which would be greatly appreciated .

Also any recommended independent VW specialists in East Sussex .

Go for something custom if you can't find anything else - Powerflow maybe? There's a site in Brighton https://www.powerflowexhausts.co.uk/Powerflow-Brighton

I was thinking I may have to do this but just wanted to see if there was anything else out there.
I am after a nice deep sound if possible.
