Just a quickie, when the rev needle plumets does that indicate rich or lean mixture?

I take it you mean when you dip the clutch?  If so rich I think :)

Yes when i dip the clutch between gear changes! It seems to plummet at the moment, but my wur maybe knacked (getting another know good working one coming soon) so hopefully that will eliminate that :)

Also i set the C0 to 2% but the plugs are still sooty black! - but then again i only do 8 miles to wotk and 8 mile back a day, so this could also give the impression from the plugs that it's running rich, but not really - so i have been told :)

Whay is nothing ever simple :)

Could try unplugging the WUR and see where that gets you, it'll be a bit sh!t from cold though.  If that stops your plugs going black then you know where the problem is :)

That's the thing mate, it runs fine with it unplugged (apart from balck plugs), but it's really restricked and bad mpg when it's plug in!!

btw this answering to each other on two different threads on different forums is making me dizzy :)
