Title: Where do you buy OEM parts/find part numbers?
Post by: sjw on 30 April 2021, 19:19
I want to buy a new coil pack, for example. Ideally, just one - think one of mine is faulty, don't really want to change the whole lot.

Where do I find out the information? Is there a decent go to site? I just google, for example, "EA888 ignition coil", and I get a few places to buy "compatible" ones. Is there anywhere I can find the originals?

Coil packs specifically, how much should I expect to be paying? £30-40 each?

Thanks all

I've upgraded mine to Audi RS4 coils therefore have the originals as spare/backup. I'd happily sell you one if you were interested?

I normally speak to my local dealer. They're good for the part search and typically, for most things, they're on the money.
The exception to that recently was my 12V battery but that was because GSF had a sale on.
