Title: Mk8 OBD port location?

Anyone worked out where it is on the Mk8?

The cubbyhole that was to the right on a Mk7 isn't on the Mk8 (shame, I can't put little bits of stuff in there to rattle and annoy me any more)

The obd port is usually under the dash Fred.

I’ve not physically stuck my head up in under the dash from the driver’s footwell but I’ve run my fingertips over the area I assumed the OBD would be and think I can confirm that it’s in a similar place to the mk7, but just a bit further toward the driver.

Place your right hand fingertips just under the bottom lip of the dash roughly in line with the accelerator pedal and it feels like that’s where the port is. About 1cm or so behind the lip facing straight down.
I was doing this in the pitch dark using touch only so might be wrong...

Didn’t see this post.....but I can confirm it’s exactly where exonian said.
