Title: How do you find the build date?
Post by: fredgroves on 30 January 2021, 11:07
Somewhere i remember seeing how you could decode the vin or some other number on a sticker in the car to find the build date.

Anyone know how?

Yes, there are VIN decoders online where you can input a VIN number and it outputs the car's details... Some are more comprehensive than others in the level of information they return... I managed to find one that output all the build details etc of mine, to check (as it was a stock car), but I cannot recall the URL at the mo'... But, yes, it did include the build date of the car...

Thanks also Yusee for the link.
So my TCR IS 1810735, and letter J, so week 18(May? assuming calendar year start) on a Monday in 2019.
