Title: 7spd DSG - rev matching/auto blip on downshift??

I'm 5 months into my first DSG box car (a Mk 7.5 GTI PP 245) after having >20 yrs of driving manuals, in which I could happily rev match myself on downshifts as desired.

My question is - does eveyone else get auto blips/rev matching from their DSG box on downshifting??  I don't/can't seem to at all (even with the box in 'S').  Yet I seem to see more and more YT vid clips of GTI's, S3 etc with DSG/S Tronic seeming to auto blip on downshift??

Think it only does it in manual... Try it!

As said above, switch to manual mode and use the paddles, it will match the revs for you on downshift.
