Maxton already have mods for the Mk8 gti. Not my thing but those alloys would look great minus the red.

Yeah the alloys would be ok if they had tyres on them instead of elastic bands 👍

Given what's been said about the Mk8 suspension being less forgiving now, I imagine the ride quality of that Maxton set-up being.....interesting 🤷♂️

It’d be interesting to see how a Mk8 with dcc is compared to a mk7.5 without. Tbh my R doesn’t have it and it’s never bothered me.

The wheels are BBS CI-R (Nurburgring Edition), available in the following sizes and offsets;
8Jx19” ET44
8.5Jx19” ET45
8.5Jx20” ET42
Note the small Nurburgring track outline in red below the centre cap;

The wheels on the car in that YouTube video look as if they’re the 20” version (cost; around £2.3k to £2.4k, plus tyres). IMO the tyres need to be wider, unless you like the stretched look. Absolutely no rim protection, so the red rim will soon be removed through kerbing!
The non-Nurburgring version of BBS CI-R’s are available in satin black, satin platinum or satin bronze without the red rim.

Thought the pattern looked familiar 👍
