Title: Brake pads
Post by: Tornado8 on 07 October 2020, 19:59
I'm changing discs and pads all round soon. Going for Brembo OE discs but undecided about pads (so many out there). What do you think out there. Are the endurance MX 72 worth paying extra, or there other's worth considering? Thanks in advance.

I went for the Brembo pads also. Good setup and no more rusty hubs as they are powder coated grey !

Are they an improvement over stock?

Maybe on quality, but the same stopping power.

I've had Brembo disks and pads on my older VAG cars, but not tried them on the MK7 yet.

Good pedal feel, not too much dust and last well.

Omg I didn't know that was a thing, I need those next time!. My MK7 is more of a weekend car as I use a van for work so rusty discs have plagued me forever

I’d recommend the Brembo pads too to match the discs.

I’ve just fitted some to my X5 even and as Carbon above mentioned they are coated to hopefully stop the rusting of the bell part etc.

I'm going for the OE discs and brembo x pads. In have a 2013 pp and it seems the same pads are listed for the standard gti even though the front discs are 340mm compared to 312mm. Is this correct?
