Title: Dynaudio Speaker Crackle
Post by: rajb on 30 September 2020, 22:09
Hi all.

Wondering if anyone else has had this issue or might now of a solution.

So I’m getting really bad speaker crackle through the driver side dynaudio tweeter BUT only when using the phone through Bluetooth for a call. Can happily stream music from my phone through Bluetooth and play the radio etc just fine with no issues.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Raj

I’m getting a crackle through my rear passenger side speaker whenever turn the car/radio on & sometimes randomly while listening to music. If I flick the fader over to that corner I get nothing so I think the speaker is blown. Don’t get any sound what so ever so I presume that both tweeter and woofer are out.

Try move the fader over to that side and see if you get any sound at all?

Cheers for the reply. It's a really strange one as the speakers are working fine when streaming music from my phone via bluetooth and using the radio etc. It's only when using the phone far an actual call it crackles really badly

Much appreciated. So possibly just a software issue but will try pairing an older phone to see then. Still unsure why it's only one side though as well.

Bluetooth only uses the front drivers side speakers for a call IIRC.

Ah then that would make perfect sense. Assumed it used both fronts.
