Can owners of recently picked up cars confirm if you are supposed to get the chrome GTi part of the key ring still? Picked mine up on Wednesday and didn't get them. Was told they don't do them anymore which I sort of didn't believe. My detailer had another TCR in and the keys had the chrome GTi bits on.

Here's my GTI key from Mar2020

Sounds dubious. My 2019 gti has it.

Cheers both. Sales guy is ordering them, looks like they've been lifted by someone

Yep, mine has them too.

Good to hear this is sorted. I’ll never know why salesmen try to fob people off. Just look into it! Same used to happen with the gti bottle opener.

They tried that on with my Dad for his 2013 GTD - it was the first MK7 Golf they'd had in. Didn't think they were still doing it because someone that works there wants GTI loops on their Match keys.

Stealers, what a fob off

 That was truly awful.
Wish I'd thought of it first....

Usual dealer crap. Wouldn't trust most of them as far as I could throw them!
