Title: Help identifying this clip

Hi

Can anyone help identify this clip found in the passenger foot well of my golf gti mk 7.5 performante dsg. Thought it was a trim clip but can't see anywhere where its missing. Anyone know what and where it goes?

Stick your head under the glove box and look up.

Yep it was that probably popped out by someone kicking the trim etc. Cheers for your help.
