Title: Resuming Podcasts after switching off and restarting the car
Post by: Pretzel on 20 July 2020, 15:54
If I'm listening to a Podcast and then stop the car for a short time for example to fill up with fuel, when I start driving again the podcast often (but not always) will after a few seconds start again from the beginning rather than the point at which I stopped.

Fully appreciate it could be an error by me or how my phone is set up, but is there a recognised sequence for stopping and restarting podcasts?

Have you got navpro? If you have turn off gesture control.... took me ages to figure out my accidental hand movements jumped the track back...

Thanks Fred, I have turned off the gesture control and will report back.

Confirmation that Fred's suggestion of turning of Gesture Control has solved the problem of Podcast unwanted resets.

Don't think I have ever knowingly used Gesture Control so its no great loss.

He shoots, he scores!

Yeah gesture control is useless, in fact with it doing that, less than useless.
