Post by: darrenx on 20 May 2020, 19:58
Hi has anyone used the vudu stage 1 software and what is it like to live with compared to the expensive revo stage one?

I had never heard of vudu until your post.
Seems to cost 449. Isn't that pretty similar?

I’d never heard of vudu either.
Maybe ask on social media mk7 groups OP, it’s not a name I've seen crop up on here before.

Our man Chris at MidlandVW could probably get you a good price on the Revo software.

Vudu is popular with the Fiesta ST lot. As far as I'm aware the software is from AET Motorsport in Castleford, West Yorkshire.

If you can wait until November for the black Friday sale you can save yourself a small fortune.

I got my ECU and DSG done from Unicorn for ~ £650 in their black Friday sale.

I know a guy running Vudu Stage 1+ on his manual Golf R. Reported to be 370bhp. Not sure he had a great experience at AET though but can't remember exact details.

What clutch has he got on that? The stock clutch struggles with stock power/torque.

Any idea of how much? Is Revo worth the money?
