Title: Boot lock issues

So I've brought a new boot lock by topran as my original barrel was seized so the key wouldn't go inside. This meant I could only open the boot with the central locking. Now I've fitted the new boot lock I can unlock by the key however I can't lock it by the key. Anybody know what's gone on?😅😂 I will add that I can unlock with the key if I turn it all the way to the right and push in at the same time

I think you may have a metal rod missing check to see if it has come undone somewhere inside

mine did this all the time until i applied a duct tape modification :grin:

@Mk3jordio pull the cover off inside the tailgate & press the lock/unlock buttons on your key, you will see the rod & where it has popped out from
