Title: Lowering Springs Fitting (Teesside)
Post by: oryx3dr on 11 March 2020, 10:39
Anyone in the Teesside area fitting lowering springs? How much would you charge. Been quoted £288 by Vasstech which seems absolutely insane to me!

Is that supply and fit or just fit? Does it include an alignment afterwards?

Just fit and no mention of alignment.

£70 a corner does seem a bit steep. I know it's not Teesside but try Richard Martin at Peterlee. He's a vag specialist 👍

Falcon performance on skippers lane industrial estate might be worth a phone call.

What is their hourly rate? £288, is £240 plus VAT. Let's say if it's £40 per hour, they've allowed 6 hours. Doesn't sound too bad to me.

Around £200 from a garage is about the going rate generally.
